Redesigning AugMend Health’s Digital Presence
Arduino, Coding, Physical Computing, Blender
LuminAura aims to create an interactive lighting experience that promotes relaxation and mental wellness within therapy sessions. Designed to merge virtual and physical realms, LuminAura responds to motion with calming color changes based on light therapy principles. Encouraging a personalized, immersive experience that blends technology, art, and interactivity, it uses RGB LEDs, a motion sensor, and customizable visuals in a compact, user-focused design.

01 RESEARCH & STRATEGY
LuminAura intuitively responds to user movements, crafting a personalized ambiance with calming color transitions inspired by light therapy principles
For the prototype, I used RGB LEDs as the output, controlled by a motion sensor that changes the lamp’s color based on proximity. The customizable visuals on the lampshade simulate a virtual therapeutic space, blending calming light transitions and interaction. This setup demonstrates how LuminAura could enhance relaxation and well-being in its developed form.

After identifying critical pain points in the original website, the redesigned platform underwent multiple rounds of rigorous user testing with healthcare professionals and patients.
Feedback highlighted a significant boost in user satisfaction, thanks to streamlined visuals, clearer call-to-actions, and a refreshed brand identity. Testing also helped fine-tune interactive features and ensure seamless mobile responsiveness, ultimately making the website more intuitive and accessible for clinicians

Looking toward the
future
To enhance user engagement, the site could incorporate more interactive elements and personalised content for returning users while also adding social proof through additional testimonials and success stories from clinicians and patients to build credibility and trust in the platform’s offerings.
